CASE · CUSTOMER DEVELOPMENT

ENGLISH SUMMARY

Lead Discovery — who should we reach first?

engine: technically validated · records: representative and synthetic · no outreach performed

Tools such as Apollo were built for companies that have a sales team: set the account up, follow up every day, write in English. For an owner who is also sales, purchasing and shipping, that is more than one person can do. The tool assumes a team, and that is no reflection on your effort. So, when we work together, I split it up: setup and evidence checks first, AI drafts the English and you approve a Chinese summary, follow-up fitted to what you can actually do, and a person makes the last call.

Most small exporters can quote; they do not know whom to approach first. Lead Discovery turns public-web signals into a sourced, challengeable list of buyers and states what to confirm before first contact. Whether an order can be taken is the next question, handled downstream in the Commercial Decision Desk.

A list can give you a name, but not whether they buy. Companies on a list are often manufacturers or design studios, neither of which would buy from you. So reach starts by confirming who the company is and whether it buys what you make, then looking for the gap in its range, and asking about first-order payment terms at the same time, which hands off to CDD. This describes how I work, not what the demo covers, and it claims no replies, meetings or orders.

Fact: 44 candidates evaluated, 20 evidence-qualified; an interactive demo of 12 records (8 anonymized representative, 4 synthetic screened-out); 353 automated checks pass (59 qualification, 129 market layer, 42 CDD intake export, 61 bring-your-own list, 62 list brief). The demo also takes up to 20 companies you bring, sorts them with the same rules, and produces a brief you can print, save as PDF or download; data stays in the browser. Excluded accounts are not exportable to CDD.
Design claim, not a fact: tiers are a reading order for people, not a probability of winning an account; the market layer never changes a tier.
Not verified: real-world precision (Precision@20) not yet measured, buyer reply, meetings, RFQs, orders, revenue, ROI, willingness to pay.

Full route (the demo covers step 1, a worksheet for the angle in step 3, and a take-away brief): 1 find the right people (demonstrated, including a list you bring yourself; finding new companies is not in the demo); 2 check the company and payment risk, a preliminary check that is not a credit report, with the formal judgment left to CDD (how I work, not in the demo); 3 find an angle for each company: scan each of the 10 to 20 targets for signals such as a supplier change, internal changes, or a need for a bundle versus a product update, using public signals only and marking what cannot be found as “Not public” (the scan is not in the demo; a worksheet to record it is); 4 AI drafts multi-round emails from each angle in your voice, so every message has a basis and none is a template (not in the demo); 5 you approve everything, and AI never sends on its own; 6 the last mile is human contact, such as a call or video meeting, and a trade fair only if needed, where AI can first pick the fair, prepare materials, and invite target buyers. List and email tools such as Apollo or Instantly can be used; the demo itself uses public-web research only. Naming or emailing individuals is subject to local privacy and commercial-email rules.

The first order isn't the finish line. It's the start of the second. How I work: goods ship straight from the supplier, and the buyer pays the supplier directly. I never handle the goods or the money. I line up the checkpoints where a first deal usually breaks, and once it is done I rework the numbers with the real costs and the real payment dates. What the deal actually made, and whether both sides kept to the terms, shapes how the second order is negotiated.

No order has gone all the way through this stage yet; this is how I work, not a result.
